ISO asks for feedback on major global standard ISO 14001

March 6, 2013

ISO 14001 has been implemented by an estimated 225,000 organisations in 160 countries and is second in sales only to ISO 9001.

ISO are currently undertaking a world-wide survey of users of ISO 14001 to develop an understanding of the needs of current, past and potential users.  ISO 14001 will be revised, with an expected new standard due in early 2015.

The ISO 14001 Continual Improvement Survey is an ideal opportunity for all UK users to let ISO know what they think about ISO 14001 and what direction it should take. The results will be used to inform the revisions of ISO 14001 and ISO 14004.

The survey has been designed to take less than 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, ISO 14001 continues to offer organizations a proven path towards improving their environmental management systems and remains an application that is truly multi-sector, from construction and manufacturing to public organisations such as government and education.
