Electronics in harsh environments included in the £25m Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) Funding Call

The Aerospace Technology Institute’s forthcoming funding call opens on September 16th.  Areas covered include: power electronics, health and monitoring systems, electronics in harsh environments and aircraft communication systems.

Projects must be business led and collaborative, lasting ~3 years. While the prime focus is on funding industrial research with the business partner able to attract up to 50% public funding (or 60% for SMEs), academic partners can also be involved but their funding will be limited to 30% of the total project costs. Projects are likely to be starting at £2 million rising to £10 million in exceptional circumstances.
