The vision of the IeMRC was to be the UK’s internationally recognised provider of world-class electronics manufacturing research. With a focus on sustaining and growing high value manufacturing in the UK the IeMRC has funded almost 60 research projects (equating to over £16 million funding) over the past decade.

The 9th annual IeMRC conference will showcase and celebrate the diverse range of innovative and exploitable new technologies developed through its projects. The day will include research presentations, table top exhibitions from UK industry and posters presentations of work from IeMRC funded electronics manufacturing related projects.

The IeMRC is one of the Manufacturing Research Centres set up and supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), focusing on the electronics manufacturing sector. With more than £16 million funding over 10 years, the IeMRC is distributed among a number of UK universities and has a ‘hub’ at Loughborough, UK.
