Upcoming IMAPS events

Workshops:

  • The IMAPS-UK  workshop on Additive Manufacturing will be on 22 October in conjunction with Loughborough University.  This event will involve demonstrations of 3D printing techniques applied for specialist application packaging.
  • “WIREBONDING” Workshop will be held at the MTC in Coventry on Thursday 3 December. The programme is being organised and it is expected to be a full house once again.

  • An IMAPS-UK Adhesives workshop at Henkel (in Hemel) on 28 January 2016
  • The IMAPS-UK  MicroTech – Annual Conference is on 17 March 2016 at Heriot Watt University conference centre (Edinburgh) and also the AGM !

Some Other EVENTS:

  • “The Future of High Temperature Interconnect”   ….. 16 September 2015.  This a Webinar that involves some of IMAPS-UK members (Microsemi and NPL) and is about the ELCOSINT project, a new range of materials for silver sintered connections …  see more at: elcosint.co.uk
  • JEMI are holding a Technical Visit, Workshop and Exhibition at Airbus R&D in Portsmouth on 8-10th September. The fees are £55 for Non members or £110 inc exhibit with a Pre Networking dinner available.
  • A hot topic event, on 13th October JEMI have a Joint Meeting with EPIC at Oclaro, Caswell Science & Technology Park, Towcester.  Malcolm Penn from Future Horizons is the keynote for a day of Semiconductor industry training, scope and influence of microelectronics, roadmaps and forecasts. Costs are £150 for Non members including a tabletop.
